Deity Down Records’ mission simply is to release good music. As long as we feel that we ourselves would go out and buy what we release, we're sure we're doing the right thing. We won't ever sign a band because the genre is hot. We'll sign what WE think is good.

Deity Down Records’ interests are in the entire spectrum covered by hard rock, (heavy) metal, punk and hardcore. We treat our signings with respect, and do everything in our power to achieve the things that we promise and have agreed on doing. What cannot be done, we will not promise you to do.

We will not commit ourselves to CD alone, as we also may release limited edition vinyls and perhaps even the odd DVD. Other than that, the shop section also contains other merchandise such as T-shirts.

The way for us to bring our bands to the attention of the public will be through the Deity Down Records' and signed bands' websites, through webstores and retailers, as well as through legal digital distribution. On the other hand, any Deity Down Records band is expected to go out and perform live on stage.

Don't expect us to do 150 signings or 150 release per year. Every release takes careful planning, and to execute such plans takes time. However, we’re always on the lookout for new talent but spots at Deity Down Records are limited nonetheless.

Zines and radio stations are encouraged to contact us when interested in receiving promos for review and airplay. We do require some kind of proof to ensure that you’re for real!
