18 July 2010: BRUTUS, PERSISTENSE, MURDER THERAPY, VICTIMIZER news.

First up: unfortunately the release of BRUTUS’ album ‘Murwgebeukt (Total Loss)’, sophmore to ‘Slachtbeest (Slaughterbeast)’ has been pushed back, most likely to early September of 2010. The final bricks in the wall of the completion of the mix and mastering are taking more of an effort than expected. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The good thing about Brutus’ suffering somewhat of an extra delay delay is that Deity Down Records could possibly release ‘Murwgebeukt (Total Loss)’ together with VICTIMIZER’s label debut ‘Tales Of Loss And New Found Serenity’, an album on which Dan Swanö is close to shedding his last drops of sweat over. Like Brutus’ album, judging from the last know mixes known here at the office, VICTIMIZER’s CD will sound nothing less but absolutely killer.

PERSISTENSE have joined the ranks over at DOOMSTAR BOOKING AGENCY. A recent statement (for anti-spam reasons we’ve adapted the agency’s email addresses accordingly) issued by the band says:

And last but not least, MURDER THERAPY finished the writing process for their new album, the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Symmetry Of Delirium’. For the moment, further details still are unknown.

Coinciding with today's release of their new album 'CRUSH, KILL AND BURN', Düsseldorf, Germany based Thrashing Death Grind outfit DEBT OF NATURE have posted the album track 'EISENFRESSER' on their Myspace http://www.myspace.com/debtofnaturemetal. The song also appears on a cd sampler, available with the current issue of the German LEGACY magazine.

'CRUSH, KILL AND BURN' was recorded at CKB studios in Essen, Germany, and was mixed and mastered at ANDY CLASSEN's STAGE ONE studio. The record is released by Netherlands based label DEITY DOWN RECORDS.

‘Brutus have inked a deal with Unique Leader Records and Deity Down Records for the release of the sophomore album "Murwgebeukt (Total Loss)".

The album has been recorded with drummer Ploegbaas, who took his own life shortly after drum recordings.
Release is set for 20th of July 2010 (Europe through Deity Down, RotW through Unique Leader).

Brutus will perform songs from "Murwgebeukt (Total Loss)" for the first time on this year's edition of the Wacken Open Air (http://www.wacken.com) festival in Germany.’

19 May 2010: Debt Of Nature: artwork, tracklist revealed, new song streaming.

VICTIMIZER (http://www.myspace.com/victimizernl) have been confirmed for this year’s EINDHOVEN METAL MEETING (http://www.myspace.com/eindhovenmetalmeeting) which will take place on December 17^th and 18^th of 2010, where these Dutch Deathsters will share the stage with (among others) MAYHEM, PESTILENCE, IMMORTAL and SEVERE TORTURE.

Currently VICTIMIZER is residing at the SPLIT SECOND SOUND Studio (http://www.myspace.com/splitsecondsound) in order to record their full-length entitled “TALES OF LOSS AND NEW FOUND SERENITY”, to be released through Deity Down Records sometime in July/August. Murder Therapy have been busy shooting a clip for the song ‘The Scourge’, taken from their Deity Down Records debut album ‘Symmetry Of Delirium’ (CD available since September 07^th 2009). The video can be admired at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dli8-f5JV c4.

Other news comes from the guys in Victimizer. They managed to land an endorsement with ENGL amps. The newly acquired equipment will be heard on the upcoming album ‘Tales Of Loss And New Found Serenity’.

Taking place in Anyksciai, Dainuva valley in the Baltic State of Lithuania on July 16-18, “Devilstone Open Air” has confirmed DEVIOUS, one of the bands on our roster. DEVIOUS will appear along the likes of MAYHEM, DEICIDE, TANKARD, Gorath and many others.

The CKB Studios (Essen, Germany) are a safe place again. Germany’s Thrashing Death/Grind sixpack Debt Of Nature have finished recording their first release for Deity Down Records: ‘CRUSH, KILL AND BURN’.

Up next will be mix and mastering which will take place at Andy Classen’s Stage One Studio. The band wrote studio blogs about their studio sessions, which you can read at the band’s MySpace page.

The Godfather of Metal’s interview with Persistense guitarist Ralf on WCNI’s The Asylum Metal Radio Show was cool to listen to. You can hear to the intie here (MP3, 192 CBR, approx. 22 minutes in English). Not only was the chat live on air, but the show’s host Bob Howard did an awesome job on featuring Persistense’s music too.

Due to extreme weather the band was unable to get to the site where the clip ‘The Scourge’ was supposed to be filmed. The session will be rescheduled. 01 February 2010: Press Statement: DEBT OF NATURE (Thrashing Death Grind) Sign to DEITY DOWN RECORDS.

Düsseldorf, Germany based Death Metal band DEBT OF NATURE have signed an agreement for the release of their forthcoming full-length ‘CRUSH, KILL AND BURN’ through DEITY DOWN RECORDS (Netherlands).

Recordings, engineered by CARSTEN REHMANN (JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE, UNCHALLENGED HATE) are scheduled to take place at CKB Studios (Essen, Germany) during February, the result of which will be mixed and mastered at ANDY CLASSEN’s Stage One Studio (KRISIUN, ASPHYX, BELPHEGOR, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, HOLY MOSES) in March. ‘CRUSH, KILL AND BURN’ should be ready for release around May of 2010.

Along with a brand new logo, DEBT OF NATURE introduces new drummer KEVIN ‘Kev’ SIEPMANN and female lead vocalist MASAE DAUSEND.

Die Düsseldorfer Death Metal Band DEBT OF NATURE hat für ihr nächstes Album “CRUSH, KILL AND BURN” beim niederländischen Label Deity Down Records unterschrieben.

Die Aufnahmen starten im Februar in den CKB Studios (Essen), unter der Aufsicht von CARSTEN REHMANN (JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE, UNCHALLENGED HATE). Den Mix übernimmt ANDY CLASSEN (KRISIUN, ASPHYX, BELPHEGOR, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, HOLY MOSES) in seinem Stage One Studio im März. ‘CRUSH, KILL AND BURN’ wird voraussichtlich im Mai 2010 erscheinen.

On January 31^st Persistense will be featured on The Asylum Metal Radio Show which is hosted by Bob Howard (aka the Godfather of Metal). The Asylum Metal Radio is a show on WCNI Radio from New London, CT, USA.

The Godfather will have an in-depth live chat with Persistense’s guitarist Ralf. The show kicks off at midnight on Saturday night (CT, USA time zone). EU listeners will have to get up early. It’ll be 6 AM in Amsterdam then….

On April 29^th Persistense will support the legendary US band Détente (an explosive mixture of politically charged thrash and punk) at Little Devil (Tilburg, NL), followed by a show at The Rambler (Eindhoven, NL) on May 02^nd.

05 January 2010: Press Statement: Murder Therapy announce pro video shoot and upcoming tour. Album streamable online.

Italian extreme Death Metallers MURDER THERAPY are working on a videoclip of the song ‘The Scourge’ which will be completed during the month of January. Also, a short European tour through Italy, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic is scheduled for the month of April.

Last but not least MURDER THERAPY decided to stream their complete album ‘Symmetry of Delirium’ from their My Space page and from last.fm indefinitely.

"We decided to take another step in doing things our way. We have uploaded our entire album, hoping it will stay online a long time. We know we are not the first band to do this, and will not be the last, although most of the time albums are streamed only for a limited promotional time. We want to use this blog to be clear about what we are doing. There are certain beliefs about the music/internet relationship that we think don’t make sense anymore.

To think that downloading an album equals a failure in selling it is madness. Thinking that streaming an entire album could demotivate its purchase is absurd (unless the album is really bad, eh eh). Having the listener find somewhere else (blogspots, Torrents, P2P..) a “preview” of the entire album, instead of having the band present it is nonsense.

So, in the attempt of taking back what is ours and present it to our listeners in the way we think is right, we decided to leave our entire album “Symmetry of Delirium” online. If you think our music is interesting listen to it here and maybe tell us what you think about it, it will be more than appreciated. ‘Symmetry of Delirium’, the first full-length studio album by MURDER THERAPY, recorded and mixed at 16th Cellar Studios in Rome, Italy by Stefano Morabito, who has previously worked with HOUR OF PENANCE, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, among many others, was released on September 7^th 2009 via Deity Down Records.
